82. It's all a part of the same dehumanization

that he's participated in. Hate your enemy. Wish ill upon them.

It's ugly when anybody does it, and I'm going to try to meditate and stay away from it as much as I can.

I think that many of us who have watched loved ones die from cancer also have the perspective that wishing that death on any other human being is terrible. The problem is that people have started dehumanizing people with different political leanings. And it's horrifying what that says about compassion and justice in our world.
