2. I live in Tulsa - very near the area that burned

People are losing their minds over it. When the subject comes up on social media, the local newspaper and TV stations, the comments will make you spit fire. Add to that there has been an uptick in the amount of racist graffiti and literature that's being spread around the neighborhood. MTWA - Make Tulsa White Again is a common tagline. You see it in both white paint and green, green is said to indicate the Irish Mob, who have always been very active in Tulsa.
2 of my great aunts lived through it, I am very grateful that I heard first hand their accounts. They lived just W of the affected area at the time and believe the majority of bodies were burned. Some believe they were thrown in the river, yet others say they were thrown into ponds in 2 parks, but in my lifetime those were drained and nothing was found.
I hope they find the evidence for which they are looking.
