(34,376 posts)It's obvious he views regular people as "beneath" him. Always has, always will. You can tell by the snarky "icebreakers" he comes up with. They're always an insult or jab of some sort. I remember in that Times article a fellow classmate of Romney's was interviewed. He said that Romney was friendly to him until he discovered that the guy had a scholarship and was a "day" student. He said that Romney didn't give him the time of day after he found that out. Everybody at the DNC said they were certain Romney was "a nice guy." No he's not. He's a boorish, spoiled, entitled snob who will govern the same way he's gone through his entire life--looking upon us Great Unwashed as something to be avoided, scorned, and ignored. If you're not rich, you don't count.
Mitt Romney is a worthless man to anyone but his cronies and perhaps people in the Mormon Church of his station or higher. I doubt he gives a damn about anybody else. I can sense it. He an Queen Ann should just toddle off and Mitt can run for President of the La Jolla McMansion Car Elevator Owners Association. That's all he's fit to oversee.
