In reply to the discussion: My father had a run-in with Mitt Romney years ago. [View all]Kalidurga

The problem for Mitt isn't whether this is true or not though. His problem is that it is completely believable. If you told a similar story about Obama, only conservatives would believe it and not all of them, just the birthers, very few if any liberals would believe it. This story isn't a shock or a surprise anymore. The story about Seamus was a shock to me, because I had never heard of such a thing before and it is unbelievably cruel. The barber story well that is believable because by that time we heard about him buttering his kids faces and the story about his blind teacher. So, the pattern is there for anyone that has eyes to see it.

Yeah, that dry mouthed clicking sound. And don't forget his creepy, awkward chuckle

If it would boost his support then they likely would not vote for Obama in a million years.

In telling that story, my father was sure to point out how highly he thought of George Romney.

Yeah, you know it's funny, but I always liked George, and know other rabid Dems who do, too.

Mitt would have been in his late teens at the time, so it was probably HIS FATHER'S house

I wonder if this is why Mitt is trailing so badly in his home state of Michigan.

IMO Little Mitt will never feel he's as good as everyone else and has to prove he is again and again
