Also like to reduce inflammation to allow immunity to potentiate by reducing foods that promote inflammation such as sugars, most dairy fat, yeast based foods, fried foods, junk foods. If I had to prepare for a flu, and I know this isn't one, I'd prep with a diet of veggies, brown rice, tomato soup, and all the greens I could throw at it. In just 3 days my inflammation would be reduced as evidenced by clearer sinuses, more energy. I would also moderately exercise, even just stretching, to promote circulation. Casual walks even around the house, are great.
