3. As a small landlady and former mayor myself

I can address this question.

I fully expected that some of the nine tenants I have would need to defer on their rent - thankfully none have this month. One of my tenants wants to break her lease and live with her boyfriend and I let her know that it's fine but she will be sacrificing her security - only fair as I still have to pay property taxes and insurance and maintain the property.

As far as property taxes go, as a former council member and mayor, I know that there are essential services that need to be paid for.
Would you ask that the local police, fire department, emergency medical services and public works people to work without being compensated?
