Anyway I can't just sit idly by and watch the country roll over and accept trump as dictator, if only until January 2021. Even if all it does is galvanize the resistance I think protest is necessary. We can't march. COVID took care of that. So there has to be some other means of expressing our dissent.
I don't have your education in psychological illness. When I see the word sociopath I automatically equate it with mental illness. I think I need to understand it better but I don't want the distinction between a criminal and a mentally ill mind to stop me from doing SOMETHING.
When we spoke last night you said rump is like a machine. And we can no more expect him to govern responsibly than we could expect a lawn mower to be able to clear snow like a snow blower. I'm not even thinking that we can stir something in him other than his usual batshit ravings.
I want the legislators who support him to have tangible evidence of how unhappy most of the country is with them. We had protests during the Vietnam era. And we had loads of them in the beginning of rump presidency which did nothing to deter him.
What can we do NOW to express out revulsion for the way he has mishandled the country, and the senate has let him?
What next?
