The system was designed to fail. And Moscow Mitch wanting states to go bankrupt further exacerbates the problem. PPP gave away money so quickly that they are shoveling another half trillion to business. Nothing for actual people.

The strings attached to the $1200 payment is a further example of the disparity. Harvard can get billions right away, even though they have a huge endowment. Actual people are left out because Republic politicians don’t want money actually in the hands of people. It’s a full on money grab by the rich and will provide a negligible benefit to the country.
