when Bugs' language was voiced and the intended audience. I remember having Viewmaster slide cartridges for Little Black Sambo and never thought of the alternate viewpoints that succeeded that story...nor anything weird about being abandoned on some isolated uninhabited place, marine or a "safe" (for/from whom) location in swamp land; in fact, I never had a thought about persecuted people of color defined as red, brown, or mixed.
