I remember in a governor race, a candidate said "vote for me because I am X". He lost. He had no platform. No vision, no ideas, no solutions. He was up against an incumbent with a decent track record. I think he could have done it if he had had a platform.
The last two ads I saw were sickly sweet. They definitely were not aimed at me. I assume they were aimed at people who are sick of the divisiveness.
What I would like to see now, in April, is ads that make people want to CAMPAIGN for him. Votes are not enough.
We have to overcome voter suppression, we have to overcome election tampering. And that takes an incredible network, an army of people committed to helping Biden supporters get to the polls.
Right now, we have to find THOSE people. This is not the time to lay back.
BTW: my only social media is Facebook, and I have never seen the podcasts. Wouldn't know they were happening if not for DU. So, in my book - not effective.
