Yeah, fine, he was against Trump. Yipee. If his group makes anti-Trump ads, great. But don't say "Wrong" when someone brings up that he helped turn the Republican party into the Trump-cult mess that it is today.

All of the NeverTrumpers who were part of Republican messaging and conservative media were part of the road crew that paved the way for Trump. Kristol, Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, Charlie Sykes, all the ones who get much too much media time trying to tell Democrats how to run our party.

They stoked division, they leaned on hot buttons, they lied their asses off, they fostered a Republican base that would argle-bargle on command and foam over every horseshit claim about Democratic pols to give them the electoral numbers to pass their tax cuts and stuff the federal courts with ideological conservative operatives. It was just "playing hardball", no matter what kind of hellbeast they were creating. After all, they were in charge of it... until they weren't.

I'm fine with making smileyfaces at them until November 4, but never, ever forget what they really are. If you do, you'll find you've been stabbed in the kidneys by a blade with their fingerprints all over it.
