In reply to the discussion: If vaccine for the virus is developed in the next two or three months, will you take it? [View all]I won't be their test subjects. Things are be rushed, protocols pushed aside to satisfy the no-clothes emperor. I'll wait and see if there are any issues, then take it. Trump has corrupted all institutions he deals with. As a healthcare worker, I'm shocked with the CDC's response to the coronavirus (from botched testing to unsound/ unsafe PPE guidelines/ no public masks- public should wear masks). It's hard when you can't trust these governing bodies that are supposed to give fact-driven/ evidence-based guidelines. After we vote Trump out of the Whitehouse, we need inquiries into the failure of the CDC, FDA, HHS etc in the coronavirus response. This should not happen again, no matter who is in power.

OP
I will but these kinds of forums are challenging for users to delineate the validity of comments.

I doubt it. Sure, there might be a few, but most scientists are pretty focused on their work.

If my state's governor Newsom or our health department recommends it, yes.

I will try to get the best information I can before deciding whether to take it or not.

With proper research, yes. I'm an RN caring for vets. If I believe it reduces my chance of giving it
