12. How do I "get back to my life" when my sister would die if she gets the disease?

She has scarred lungs so is already greatly compromised. I had to make the decision to pull my mom off the vent and it was the worst thing I've ever had to do, would do anything not to have to make that decision for my best friend and sister. Maybe the 70 year old poster isn't at a high risk & doesnt have someone at great risk from this disease, but most others aren't so lucky or so cavalier about their loved ones life or death.

Even though restaurants are opening up at 25% today in FL, we won't be going, just like we're not going to the beaches and parks - too crowded, too unsafe. If the numbers don't go up and our hospitals are still in ok condition in 3 weeks, we will try our fave mom and pop restaurants that were never crowded to begin with. I do not trust the state of FL or GA to tell the truth, so will be checking with my friends who work at hospitals - those numbers will tell the true story.

Exactly. That is why I'm saying the idea of "getting back to our lives" is not responsible. Squinch May 2020 #13
