1. I keep motioning to people approaching me while jogging or walking two abreast to get over

Most are polite enough to do so as I'm literally off the paved bike path into the ravine that runs parallel. But, that they don't automatically get over in a single file so that there is at least four feet available separating us is really annoying. They say to pick your battles, but damn--when my life and others are at stake, I'm having trouble with that.

As a dog obsessive myself, I've also tried to be understanding when people let their dogs get past them (though they clearly are supposed to have them leashed) and of course then have to come up to me and my dog to retrieve it. Outside walking my dog, in my car, and at home are the ONLY times I'm not wearing a mask and my face/skin can heal. But, that hinges on people being responsible I encounter outside. Thus I tend to spend time out on the trails at dawn, but even then I encounter people that just don't think.

Agreed. I'd put it more on "let me take up running..." a new runner whose body said "hey now." greenjar_01 May 2020 #7

I agree. Tell me where I said I was going to call 911? C Moon May 2020 #21

I said I wasn't going to call 911, I didn't think it was necessary. C Moon May 2020 #20
