45. I've been doing something similar for over ten years

Started around the time Paleo Pete promoted his Paleo diet scam. Being a history & earth sciences lover, I pondered what, exactly, would the eating habits be of folk in the 'old stone age' or the paleolithic.

They were hunter-gatherers, so their diet would have depended very much on seasonal variations and availability of meat. Since breakfast didn't really exist until medieval times, I imagine they would have hunted, gathered (with varying degrees of success), and made and repaired tools and implements all day; I imagine they would have had one large meal after the day's activities, then slept. I don't believe they had a guarantee of meat every day.

I eat one good sized meal a day at around 4.30 - 5pm, mostly vegetable based, chicken or fish once or twice a week. I don't get hungry before that time, possibly because I've persisted and my body has become used to this regimen. I feel terrific, blood sugars are good and I've lost 25 kg in total. As a rule, no sugar but this is not inflexible. Only drinks are a couple of coffees in the morning, water and a little red wine.
