14. There is no logic behind their ideas. It boils down to, "I want this..."

The three concepts are not really even related. The thing about coronavirus being overblown is just standard stupidity. Conspiracy theory based on the belief that the government (Even though Trump is the head of government) is lying to us.

The thinking behind the going back to school is based on the erroneous belief that children are not affected by coronavirus. Although the numbers so far show a lower infection rate, we are beginning to see emergence of conditions in children likely caused by the virus. They may remain safer over all, but they are not immune AND they can still carry the virus and bring it back home with them from school.

Finally, the Manafort thing is based on them just wanting people who committed crimes for Trump to be out and free to keep criming for him. The argument is that Manafort is vulnerable to COVID-19 because he is older. However, the facility he was going to has NO problems with the virus.

Three different issues conflated together all based on bad assumptions. Republicans have always been horrific on the use of logic. Their whole ideology is based on emotions, even though they accuse liberals of being overly emotional.
