(3,494 posts)I think he has a good chance to win, BUT, at least in my state, how this election will be held is in extreme doubt. I'm already seeing evidence there will be fewer polling places open and the absentee/mail-in vote is extremely spotty. If the heavily Democratic areas in my state have any reduction in voter participation then I would't be surprised if the election (in my state) is a toss up and gets decided on how well each party can get its voters to the polls or to mail in their ballot. And I know how (dis)organized the Democratic party can be. They have a lot of time to get their act together, but they have to take this seriously and get people in place who have proven they can get things done.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Trump refuses to recognize the election results or gets a couple of key states where votes are close to tip things in his favor via either the courts or incumbent Republican governors. The Dems have shown too much complacency and tendencies to "do nice" (bring a lemon to a knife fight) for me to consider this election as "in the bag" (even though by all accounts it should be).
