(1,997 posts)18. I have to say, the class I really feel for is the kids who are now juniors.
They will never have a real senior year. At least these kids got to experience over half of "their" year. They got to go to football games, homecoming, participate in senior activities and show what they could do on predictable standardized tests. Kids who are now juniors will have none of that, and by the time they graduate, they won't be seen as special or deserving of a tribute like this.
The current sophomores will hopefully salvage some of their 'normal' school life by the time they get to be seniors.

I remember mine, but not on account of any part of the ceremony itself.

I remember mine and coming home after to help my mom clean up the kitchen after dinner.
