9. The exact same thing has happened to a few former students of mine who I know are/were conservative.

Students who were members of Young Republicans in high school with whom I have been friends with on Facebook since their graduation.

One in particular has shocked the hell out of me given the vitriol of her anti-Democrat postings. Like your dad, it seemed to start with Covid and the lack of seriousness and crisis management Trump has displayed. But the events since George Floyd have crystallized her anti-Trumpism, saying that you cannot support the protests and Trump.

2020 may be Trump's annus horriblis.
