But the elections are run by the states and he has no control over them.

When he loses in November, he will scream and wail and call fraud. Barr may even try to do something about it, but once the electors are chosen and they vote for Biden in the EC, there is nothing he can do. The inauguration will go on as scheduled and as of 12:01 on January 20, 2021, he will no longer be the POTUS. US Marshals will escort him out of OUR HOUSE for good.
