89. Are you suggesting that people no longer call folks "Dick"?

While true that it may not be the insult of choice anymore, it is still frequently used. Not that I think the frequency of use really has anything to do with whether or not something could be considered sexist.

I don’t think it is sexist to call someone exploiting her privilege a “Karen.”

I don’t think it is sexist to call someone behaving in a stupid, mean or contemptible way a “Dick.”

Do you think one is sexist but not the other?

Webster’s:

Definition of dick (Entry 1 of 3)
1 usually vulgar
a : PENIS
b : a mean, stupid, or annoying man

Perhaps you’d be more comfortable if we called mwan, stupid or annoying women “Karen”? Perhaps it is calling out and labeling white privilege that you are really upset about? I don’t know.
