14. Before Cotton the seat was Democratic

Held by Mark Pryor for 12 years.

We essentially gave the seat away in 2014. Pryor was deem one of those Democrats we don't need in the party. He had not voted to continue the AWB and somehow it was felt it would be better to let Cotton take the seat than to support Pryor.
