Overtly racist cartoon published in rural MO paper sparks protests

9. I've only ever lived in Tennessee and Texas. Small towns

in east Texas are similar. Tennessee legislators just voted to keep the founder of the KKK on display in the capitol building.

I’ll just never get used to the stoking of hatred. And they’re quite proud of their racism. The current administration is making them feel good and right in their hatred of people that don’t look like themselves.

I hope these many nightmares are over soon.
