22. I like Governor Cuomo, but he's missing an important point on the protests.

Many of these protests are sympathetic. Maybe NY is on the road to solving its problems, but the protesters are not just out there for New Yorkers, but for other locations in the US where police are out of control. There are George Floyd protests in Europe.

We had a protest here in my little dinky town, not to protest our police (who actually escorted and protected the protesters) but the endemic problem.

I also believe these protests reflect distrust and disdain for Trump's sheer ignorance on this issue, so there's a conflation going on that still needs to be addressed (mostly by voting him out in November) but the protesters are sending a message to Trump too IMO.
