My first thought was, so, which of Trump's executive orders is President Biden going to have to jump through hoops for a year or two before they can be rescinded?

After that, I reflected on how this may play out in the general election. After getting over the shock of this ruling, the MAGAts will be fired up to deliver a giant FU to Roberts, while we lose a hot-button issue.

Also, this is just a stay of execution, not a pardon or commutation. And Trump was counting on having DACA beneficiaries as bargaining chips for comprehensive immigration reform that would have dispirited some of his base that he would even consider it at all. I'd say that immigration reform is dead as long as there are at least 41 solid GOP'ers in the Senate. And Collins,
Romney and Murkowski don't count.

Bottom line is, Trump's not defeated yet, and we need to keep that in mind as we work with all of our might to get to President Biden.
