Then just Google racial demographics of Kentucky and the first thing that pops up shows 87% white.

According to the most recent ACS, the racial composition of Kentucky was:
White: 87.08%
Black or African American: 7.98%
Two or more races: 2.25%
Asian: 1.41%
Other race: 0.99%
Native American: 0.22%
Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.06%
