I heard Hillary talk about this moment on Howard Stern. When Howard asked her why she didn't lay into him for doing that (when the entire WORLD was hoping she would), she gave a pretty great answer. I can't remember it exactly, but she said something about how when you're coming up as a female attorney in the '60s, you learn that you have to be very measured because you'll be called "too emotional" or "bitchy" if you lash out, even when it's deserved. I wish I could remember the quote because it was a brilliant explanation. Of course, she was called "too emotional," and "shrill" throughout the campaign ANYWAY, so I wish she would have laid into him. Like I said, I wish she would have said, "Hey......GRANDPA........your chair is over THERE! Go sit down!" It was an opportunity to bloody the bully's nose and she didn't take it.
