In reply to the discussion: The TikTok Kids Did Not Effect The Crowd Size at The Rally. [View all]pamela
(3,469 posts)26. They deserve a lot of credit. It was turning into blame, though.
The right wingers were picking up on the idea that the poor, poor Magats couldn't get tickets because the TikTok kids "bought" them all. That simply isn't true. Tickets were available all week.
I love what they did, I just think it's getting twisted and misunderstood. They punked the campaign and Trump into believing their hype and that's hysterical. But, Trump is to blame, entirely, for the poor turnout. People, even Magats, just aren't that into him anymore.

Trump needs a new method of getting out his message. Rallies will not work at this time.

You cannot prove that no one stayed away because of anticipating a too-crowded space.

They're the reason the expectation was so high, but they're not the reason nobody showed up.

If "[t]hese phony ticket requests never factor into our thinking", explain the overflow setup.

We must operate under the assumption that conservatives will always cry foul.
