Fireworks (in your neighborhood), yay or nay?

22. My dad was born on the 4th of July

I've always loved fireworks because the family joke was the nation celebrating my father.

I actually have a great set up right now. There are neighbors in all directions who dependably set off fireworks on July 4th and New Year's Eve. They are not too close to me. All a few hundred yards away. So I can stand in my front yard or sit by my pool and watch them.

I'm always hoping the fireworks will wipe out the feral cats. In a proper world that would be the result. We need more horse racing and zero cats.
