He was offered a contract but stood by his guns to protest against innocent, unarmed black men and women getting killed by racist police on the streets of America over and over and over. See George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, Breonna Taylor for the most recent ones out of hundreds over the years.

Are you totally unaware of the protests going on in major cities of the country and the world right now? Kapernick's sacrifice, and he didn't back down, is what built this movement.

Do you get it now?
