I hope we find out someday. This country, if sane and healthy, would have rejected him in 2016 and many times since just based on the circumstantial and clear possibility that he's not acting in our best interests. What more do we/they need?
Because we don't have healthy public discourse and because of the cultism that has emerged (and possibly because of the potential destruction of the gop) I'm not sure it would matter to his followers or to the gop elected officials or fellow oligarchs who decided long ago to do whatever it takes to protect him. They see a way through this and are sticking to the game plan. If they haven't thrown him under the bus yet they won't now...they have to get to the election.
