Would you trust a vaccine that comes out before the election? [View all]

All vaccines must be approved by the FDA. Right now, the FDA seems to be permitting steps to be skipped in testing for various, possible Covid-19 vaccines.

The FDA is part of the administrative branch of government which means that Trump has a say in who runs this federal department.

Anyone who doesn't think pressure is being put on the FDA to quickly find a vaccine is naive. So if a Covid-19 vaccine miraculously shows up this August or September, would you be willing to be a guinea pig? Maybe it really would protect you. And maybe it would kill you. Who knows?

Anything produced by any federal agency controlled by Trump must be treated as questionable at best.

So, again I ask. Would you trust a Covid-19 vaccine that comes out before the election?
