(114,602 posts)20. They are not supporting us. They are trying to prevent the total destruction
of their own party, something in great danger (from their POV) of happening as Dumdum drags them down with him, and selling out our soldiers overseas isn't even the bottom of that barrel full of pus and poison.
They are doing damage to him and I'm grateful for every hole poked into that thin skin. I just don't kid myself that any of them has had a real change of heart. They still use an unattainable end to justify unacceptable means. And they still think everything runs from the top down, so the bottom can be ignored.
It's a pity, they're really good at being nasty.
