Who here knows someone personally who has/had Covid-19?

53. I'm from NNJ/NYC suburbs.. I know 8 people that died, and I know at least 55 who have had it.

One of my close friends was on a ventilator for 3 months and is in a rehab facility now- will never fully recover. All of these I know that died were age 45-65. Countless Frieda of my 17 yr old daughter had it in March and April. I teach in a public school and at least 7 of my close colleagues have had it, again with lingering issues. Except g TG or the teens, no one I know has fully recovered to the state they were in before.
The rest of the country has no idea what's coming. I have gone into public places (grocery stores, drugstores only) about 10x in the last 4 months. I walk alone on my street and have not been shopping, restaurant, etc at all. Yes we flattened the curve here but I'm so afraid these yahoo's from the red states will come here and cause our numbers to rise.
