(53,786 posts)I was tempted to buy Bolton's book for about two seconds, but figured it would be a lot of boasting from the author and not much else that we didn't already known. Having watched him in television interviews, I got the impression that he used the platform to also put down the Democratic party. Apparently in John Bolton's mind, he is vastly superior to pretty much everyone on the planet.
On the other hand, Mary Trump's book could give us more insight into how Donald Trump became the mindless monster that he is. The psychology behind people like him really interests me. This family has caused a lot of damage to a lot of people and I like to know how and why.
Thanks for the summary of John Bolton's book. I think it was pretty much what everyone expected.
