Why can't trump just start working on Covid, getting US companies making ppe & testing? [View all]

It’s obvious that failing us on this scale is going to lose him a lot of voters. Even if he only cares about himself which is clearly true, why won’t he do what is necessary here?

It’s way past trying to hide the fact that there’s a problem. The problem has escalated to the point that nobody rational doesn’t see it. The only way he’s going to get this under control is getting enough protective equipment and testing happening at scale and right away. Why won’t he do that?

Is he really trying to kill us?
