36. I was a Lead Judge yesterday and every single Democratic voter wore a mask
Thu Jul 16, 2020, 01:26 AM
Jul 2020

except for one guy who stood 6 feet away and asked if we had masks. Which we did. And Gloves.
face shields for the workers and the coolest thing ever for sanitizing the stylus for the ePollbooks! We had wipes to clean the screens, plenty of hand sanitizer.

Interestingly, the Republican Lead Judge took it upon himself to stand 12 feet from the entrance and ask which party .. However one of our voters told us she wouldn't ever go over there because she did not want to catch the "stupid virus" She cracked us up. Turns out she is in my State House district and I walked out with her and gave her a yard sign for our candidate.

That is a LOT of voters for a runoff. We did have more exciting and publicized races than they did though, (they had one judicial post, we had US Senate, Congressional Representative and a Constable. plus Fort Worth's Democrats had their knickers in a twist over a tax issue.

What was the Republican turnout? jorgevlorgan Jul 2020 #1
