Except that if all the elections are challenged - House races too - then there would be zero reps in the House and only 67 (or so) Senators. The succession goes President - VP - Speaker of the House, but I think that would only happen if the President and VP are both hit by a bus on the same day. If there is a tie in the Electoral vote, then there is a process that takes place in the House where each state gets one vote - which would give the election to Trump (assuming every Republican House member votes for him). We hold more seats, but they have more states.

All these interesting things I have learned by being on DU!
