8. It shook the NASA personnel at JPL on live TV this morning.....

during coverage of the mars mission spacecraft launch. Shook up their personnel in Pasadena, I suppose.

Thankfully, it didn't cause them any problems and the Florida launch went on perfectly.......

I think this is the right one in LA from USGS:

M 4.2 - 2km N of Pacoima, CA

Another one 40-min. earlier was out to sea from Eureka:
