And my 17 yo girlfriend lives 2 miles away across the state line, and the age of consent in her state is 17 ... and she drives two miles over the state line, to my state, to sleep with me ... I'm busted because the age of consent magically became 18 when she drove over the state line?

I rather doubt it works that way, but I could be wrong.
