never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined a cartoonish dolt like Trump would be the one to pull it off. But then again, I could have never imagined that almost every republican in government would blindly follow such a fool. As I witness it, it is still hard to believe it is real.
I think a lot of it goes back to the Gingrich days when he created an almost unprecedented culture of division and animosity in congress and it has only gotten worse over the years. Of course, he wasn't the only one responsible, but he set the ball rolling in many ways.
