15. I love feisty Momala

At 1st I was a bit disappointed in her speech, but then she drew me in. It became a perfect speech for her for many reasons.

The biggest one to me is that she defined herself. She put her story out there along with some of her biggest accomplishments, before the republicans could define her. Against the backdrop of trump calling her "nasty." I am sure some republicans and undecideds are scratching their heads wondering why. It makes trump look vindictive, weak and small.

I LMAO when she said she was born in Oakland, CA. It shut down the birther shit they are trying to hurl at her. I believe after 8 years of republikkklans using that smear on Obama, it has run out of steam, she put the lid on it.

It really surprised me that the republicans did not come out swinging when Biden announced her as his running mate. All they did was dust off the same ineffective shit they used against Obama.

It just now made me realize, she is at her most dangerous when she is calm, cool and collected. She landed several punches, with a smile on her face. If she had said "I know a predator when I see one" in a fiery speech republikkklans would have run with the "angry black woman" meme. They will try that anyhow, but against the backdrop of this speech it will fall flat.

The GOP haven't figured out a way to run against Momala and this speech sure didn't help them. Can't wait for the debates. She will chew pence up and spit him out before he even realizes what happened.

Edited in.

The speech also closed out the night with an uplifting positive speech.

Even though Obama's speech was terrific, closing the night out with that speech would have left people with a different emotion. He laid out the problems of life under trump, then Kamala took the stage with a path forward. Ending the night on a positive note.
