68. I wondered whether the Synagogue talked to the couple about what it was planning.

I honestly would have tried to put the hives in the center of the Synagogue property and away from neighbor’s properties.

The incident does show that they are assholes, but drawing broad inferences from the incident can turn out to be problematic given that there may have been an issue with assumptions that the Rabbi made.
