Knowing a bit about Wisconsin and how young offenders are treated,had a couple Brothers who fit this bill. Before the programs were call "Diversion,"County Judges used the Army as a Diversion Program. Especially in North Western Wisconsin. As memory recalls,it appeared to me the Judge had a Army Recruiter's personal number in his Rolodex. And if your were not 18,and you were withing a couple months of turning 18,the Judge would have the Parents give legal authority for the Kid to be shipped to Fort Leonardwood ASAP.

Understand the Diversion Program now is some type of Militarized Boot Camp thing based up in the Poplar Swamps.
