But Trump is stupid enough to try it.

If he did Biden should tell him he will not order investigations. Because as someone who supports the rule of law, he would never do such a thing.

But of course he would not stand in the way of his AG if the renewed Justice Department discovered crimes to be investigated.

I will be against a Democratic President ordering or suppressing an JD investigation as strongly as I am against a republican doing so.

It become apparent having the Justice Department under the executive branch is a massive weakness of our democracy. I don’t have a solution which I guess would require a constitutional amendment. But I can see the problem.
