13. The people I'm talking about ...

... were members of his base.

That base has been eroding from day one. People have been turned around due to different issues: kids in cages, a promised middle-class tax-cut that turned out to be pennies, and now his response to Covid-19.

We always hoped there'd be some action or event that would cause a landslide of Trump desertions, but that didn't happen. However, the erosion has been steady and constant - a handful here, a group or two there - over time, it adds up.
