It's difficult when we start seeing people our own age disappear. I think about that a lot more lately than I ever did before. He graduated in '68 and attended Kent State. He must have been there for the National Guard Massacre. I know I'll never forget the moment I heard about Kent State. I remember where I was, who I was with, and what time of day it was. It was one of the defining events that really truned popular opinion against the war in Vietnam. Mr. Fulmer certainly lived during "interesting" times, that's for sure. He sounded like a wonderful man. The world is worse off for having lost him.
