(89,451 posts)is my friend the Republican who just couldnt possibly bring herself to vote for Hillary in 2016. She insists her conscience is clear (what-evvvvvvverrrrrr) but at least shes not voting for trump again. I console myself that at least its one less vote for trump.
I think she wont vote Democratic because of the pro-choice issue. Just a guess. Were so different that way. An anti-choice position among politicians is a deal-breaker for me. NOBODY - BUT NOBODY owns my body or has ANY say over what I do with it - but me.
I often wonder how she or anyone else can justify their so-called pro-life position in light of the utter sadistic cruelty of the trump and policies (after all, cruelty is the point). From the abomination of children snatched from their mothers arms and locked in cages at the border to this herd immunity crap that people like Dan Patrick are hustling - where enough proper exposure and infection is rationalized as okay for most of us, even though it includes an expected death toll over TWO MILLION PEOPLE as the cost of doing business.
republi-CONS. Go figure...
