(14,565 posts)I have noted that in polling all year, greater number of Hispanic undecideds, and it does not surprise me. Hispanics have conflicting influences from several directions, including the Hispanic tendency to favor the incumbent contrasted to what that incumbent does for them and thinks of them.
Here is one article from earlier this year that describes the dilemma between Cubans. Specifically it looks at younger Cubans who would not support Bernie Sanders because it would betray their grandmothers. At the time the article indicated that Biden was an acceptable choice for that crowd. However, I know damn well those grandmothers have tons of influence in the family. I have mentioned many times that many Cuban households have three generations living under one roof. After the socialism theme exploded in Florida with the Andrew Gillum nomination there is going to be lingering impact, with younger Cubans struggling with their choice since older Cubans in the household will be vocal in favor of Trump:
