And I’ve been at a loss about what to do with the deplorables when Biden wins.

But then I’m making a very big assumption that Biden will win. In all of this, I have to remember that while I saw him coming, I didn’t really think chump could win. (that was my error) I woke up the day after the election in 2016 simply astounded that HRC had lost.

FWIW I think the time between November 3rd and when Biden gets sworn in have the potential to be very violent. We have already passed the point where things have been said that can’t be unsaid. Depending on where you live, you should already be taking action to protect yourself and your family on and after the election. He’s already advocating armed resistance if he loses, so before you accuse me of overreacting, think about what the deplorables might be stocking up on right now.

The question as I see it is who could conceivably replace chump? Like him or hate him, he has been able to do this because he possesses quite a bit of charisma. Usually, the leaders of this nationalist/nazi ilk are too slimy to be heeded, the rest of us cringe whenever they get on the podium. But chump was able to hoodwink them, and I think there is the key to how you deal with them.

Got to get them to turn on one another. They suffer from extreme confirmation bias, how can we be the ones doing the hoodwinking? What can we tell them about each other that they already secretly believe is true that can sow discord? Quite a bit comes to my mind.

I’m thinking (only half in jest) that we need a “Stephen Colbert” type, but before he took over the tonight show. Just the kind of smarmy, reassuring, over the top, conservative turd they’d be likely to find comfort in. Send him in (suicide mission probably, so pick someone with a terminal illness) with a conservative message so stupid, so sound in it’s circular reasoning, that it can’t be resisted. It sounds like a Monty Python outtake, but life has imitated art before.

There might have been a time when I thought the evangelicals were the key. Heh, guess I was way off there. Right now, I think it might be the veterans, but only if the timing works out on his remarks about the military. Sure as hell nothing ever seems to stick to the man, so the actual election is going to depend on what boots get dropped on Monday November 2nd.

I can’t believe it isn’t going to be a landslide for Biden.

But then I couldn’t believe when chump won it in 2016.
